Johnny The Oldies Singer

 I’ve been singing since I was a teenager, having started in a NY doo-wop group at age 16. Thereafter, upon joining the U.S. Navy, I also performed in an oldies group. After leaving the service, I continued performing while studying at the Berklee College of Music and training with vocal coach/ recording artist CJ Giordano,  before transitioning to a solo artist career which included songs of the Great American Songbook. Over the past two decades, I’ve entertained at hundreds of festive family occasions, including 70th, 80th, and 90th birthday parties, as well as 50th and 60th anniversary celebrations.  I’ve been honored to be part of hundreds of once-in-a-lifetime family celebrations—Weddings-Engagements-Birthdays, Anniversaries, Retirements, Reunions and Corporate events—Making these occasions memorable and fun is deeply rewarding, and I truly love what I do. My performances go beyond singing; I'm an interactive entertainer who seeks to connect with the audience to ensure that everyone has a great time. I believe you can’t just be a singer—you have to be an entertainer to keep the energy alive. Before each event, I do my homework with the party planner to build an itinerary and personalize my musical tribute to the honoree. On the event day, I arrive early to meet-greet and interact with guests, share jokes, and find voluunteers ready to join in the show. My Attire is formal tux. I bring 100% effort to every performance, in an attempt to make each and every  celebration unforgetable fun. I can sing at your Cocktail or Dinner hour, or Entertain at a full party - to include full Emcee & Dj services.
